Years of living in a non-English speaking country have taken their toll on our dental wellness. Time to take care of some dental work.

Need recommendations for top notch dentists in Seattle. We have some dental insurance, and some cash. Need the best dentist possible so we won't need to have the work redone yet again in another few years.

Post 'em here, preferably with supporting comments.

I lived in Japan for many years, and came back with the teeth to prove it... I really understand.
Stephen Prince, DDS downtown Seattle, in Seattle Tower Bldg.
Been seeing him since Dec. 1982! He's always in the annual Seattle's Best Dentists in Seattle magazine. He's a private practice dentist. Astonishingly careful about exactly the right care to give, discussing alternatives in detail side by side with the patient, sensitive to possibilities of pain and, unusually, to the fact that different people feel pain differently. Loves to work on kids; has all sorts of toys and dental educ. toys around for them, and wears funny ties to make them chuckle. Nothing he has done to my teeth in 26 years has cracked or fallen out except one crown, thanks to caramels... Has a wide circle of top-notch referrals (orthodontists, root canal specialists, etc.).

Are you looking for someone able to do a full mouth reconstruction? My daughters orthodontist recommended Goichi Shiotsu on Mercer Island.

Here's his web site, Dr. Goichi Shiotsu, DDS, PS

If you are getting crowns and veneers these do have to be redone after a few years. You can do some research on the web if you need to know more.

Wow, I don't even know what full mouth reconstruction is.

Actually though, there are some missing teeth to be replaced (not mine!). Yeah, maybe a bridge.

I know an American dentist is just going to rip into us for postponing this work. On second thought, this dentist should be really nice as well.

Well, Mitch Marder is very nice, an absolute sweetheart. He also teaches dentistry at UW.

The time to actually visit dentist has come. With a vengeance. Glad I got these referrals from ya'll earlier.

I googled this Dr. Stephen Price and found this Directory Assistance Plus Business Search

Is this the correct contact information? Right guy?

Downtown is a good location for me to see a dentist, that's why I picked Dr. Price. Many thanks to all who replied.

Issaquah Dental Arts

Completely worth the drive to Issaquah. Check out the Web site and you'll see what I mean.

My husband hasn't been to a dentist since we moved away. He's totally sure he will be disappointed in the next dentist because he/she won't be Dr. Huysing.

Yes, that's Steve. He's in the Seattle Tower building on 3rd. Wonderful old authentic art deco building.
