So I'm not sure which forum this belongs on, but I guess social interactions are part of self-sufficiency. I am curious how to respond to certain greetings. I have heard a few over the years and the nature of the questions are not greetings so I never know how to respond. Here are ones I've heard the most often:

What do you know?
What's the word?
What it is?
What do you think?
How do you rate? (The strangest one I've heard.)

How do you respond to these and what are some other ridiculous greetings you've heard?

1. Nothing
2. Up.
3. How'r ya doin?
4. I don't.
5. Excellent, TY. You?

Might want to put this in the General Forum, where we occasionally discuss words/phrases we like/don't like/don't understand.
