He snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in Iraq and Afghanistan; allowed the Russians to invade a couple of sovereign nations as he attempts to put the old band (Soviet Union) back together; got stared down by a tin horn dictator after he stepped across Obama's "red line" and then kicked sand in his face. The economy and employment should have recovered years ago as they always do after recessions, but his policies have made that virtually impossible and have guaranteed that a whole segment of society will never work again.

He has been the most dictatorial president in U.S. history openly defying the Congress and courts when it suits him to. His Justice Department and the IRS have become open operatives of the Democrat Party. His State Department has violated more federal laws than anyone ever dared dream and are allowed to skate on those violations while lying about them.

Jimmy Carter looks like a resounding success story compared to Obama.
I have never understood why the radical right has such an insane opposition to health care, but the way the Republican party is self-destructing it's probably not relevant. I'm sorry we are still fighting that stupid "war on terror," but he's still after the tin horn dictator. We should dump the Israeli idiots and let the Semites fight it out among themselves. The only thing I am really bitter about is that he did not veto the reauthorization of the Patriot Act and close Guantanamo. Those are the two things that really are working to destroy the constitution.

If you want to get historical, the genesis of today's Socialist miasma can be traced back to 1933, the bankruptcy, and state of emergency declared by FDR and Congress. Once you accept that government can TAKE from one to GIVE to another, you've ended private property, and instituted a totalitarian police state. How else are they going to enforce it? Wheedle "pretty please, with sugar on top?"
You wind up with government IDs, paperwork, prying government agents, and total control of the workforce, via regulations and taxation.
. . .
But the collectivist politicians began infiltrating American governments as far back as the last quarter of the 19th century.
. . .
Based on the republican form of government, American governments are instituted to (a) secure endowed rights, and (b) govern those who consent.
There is no implicit delegation of authority to operate public utilities, own the public roads, reserve huge swaths of land as parks, preserves, or scenic vistas. Nor enter into treaties as a means to violate liberties, that would otherwise be ruled unconstitutional. But that has not stopped the government, because most Americans unknowingly consented to being governed / ruled / abused.
. . .
Case in point - taxes. No government instituted to secure rights can tax rights. That leave only government privileges. So you must ask how and when did your right to life, and support that life with labor become a revenue taxable privilege?
Not 1 in 10,000 Americans will dare ask "their servants" to explain it, nor hold them accountable. The 9,999 will roll their eyes, and snark about "lunatic fringe" or "tax protesters" or such. Rarely will anyone bother to read the law, in the public record, available in any county courthouse law library. But if you do go to the courthouse law library, remember to wear knee pads and "Depends" (adult diapers) ... you may fall to your knees, weeping, or pee yourself.

Pneumonia kills old people. One of the healthiest and most vigorous men in American history was George Washington. He spent a big part of his life in the military, and worked his way up to top general, by being so healthy, vigorous, and talented at military leadership. He died of pneumonia at age 67. Hillary is 68.

My 83 year old parents had it and they are fine now.

But the 92 y.o. nearby hasn't recovered yet.

Factoid - medical science was not invented in the days of G. Washington. They didn't even know that GERMS and BACTERIA caused disease. They didn't know about infection.

The average age of death in industrial Britain (50 years AFTER GW) was something like 34.

It's really strange how the same people who often cheered John McCain and RR now - all of a sudden - think 68 is old.er

I have a friend who is 66 who beats almost all comers at racquetball. Another just finished biking 140 miles - in one day in August.

And - guess what? We have a VP and a chain of command. Maybe Paul Ryan will become Prez the easy way! So don't sweat it.

It's true. Unfettered capitalism and free markets is a failed system, that had to be restricted and modified to function. They scream and howl about it, but if the amount of damage they can do was not strictly limited we would all be living in a pile of rubble by now.

What most people presume to be capitalism is not capitalism.

Capitalist Principles
...
CAPITALISM - An economic system in which the means of production, distribution and exchange are privately owned and operated for private profit.
- - - WEBSTER'S DICTIONARY

PRIVATE PROPERTY - "As protected from being taken for public uses, is such property as belongs absolutely to an individual, and of which he has the exclusive right of disposition. Property of a specific, fixed and tangible nature, capable of being in possession and transmitted to another, such as houses, lands, and chattels."
- - - Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., p.1217
If you concatenate capitalism with private property, you can see the "inconvenient truth".
❏ CAPITALISM is an economic system in which the means of production, distribution and exchange are absolutely owned by INDIVIDUALS and operated for their individual profit.
If you think about it, capitalism is an endowment (right) to be secured by government. There is no government privilege involved in absolute ownership of the means of production, distribution and exchange, and of the gain derived. Nor can capitalism be subject to an excise tax, since no government privilege is involved. (And all constitutions explicitly protect private property ownership)

This definition does NOT include usury, gambling (underwriting), speculation, extortion, limited liability artificial persons (government privileged), group ownership or other predatory practices usually attributed to "capitalism". Coincidentally, such practices are subject to an excise tax, for they are revenue taxable privileges. They may call themselves "capitalists" but in truth, they prey upon property owners (real capitalists).

1933 was the beginning of the end

When Americans embraced the idea that it was a "good thing" for government to TAKE from one to GIVE to another, they embraced their doom. That ended absolute ownership (private property) and instituted collectivism with its compulsory charity, compulsory labor for the benefit of another, and expropriation of property for the benefit of another.

Guess how they were going to enforce that? Wheedle, “Pretty please, with sugar on top?”
No.
They instituted a “benevolent” totalitarian police state, where everything not mandatory, is taxed, regulated, licensed, or forbidden. And now we have stooges like the Golfer-in-Chief to perform for the (m)asses.

P.S. - despite socialist / communist countries "abolishing capitalism" - they have no problem with tolerating banks, usury and corporations.

There is enough police corruption, buy in this city and get thrown from new home in 1-2 weeks. Cops scared people away and left new purchases abandoned.

So many people forced to attend church to deal with mental illness, this hatemonger hole is a business bankrupter. Is really nut farm. Working with looneys and people who f-up employees, customers and own employer.

Won't take much to upset things after Christian elders move into area 'owning the black folks and cops', and more targeted crime started....People getting harmed if they join wrong churches and want to leave, mugged or family harmed. Some places have system stifled down to a bunch of slaves screwing up where needed while other spots are more obviously new converts to GAWD'S voice direction.

Like Ron Paul crowd say, really cannot tell things are so bad in other areas until food disappears from markets. BUT never hurts to stop off at Asian market for the 50lb rice, canned stuff and bulk bean products just be to able to cover self if you live in smaller community.

1933? And here I thought the 16th amendment was passed in 1909 and ratified in 1913. Importation of slaves was outlawed in 1808, and New Hampshire instituted the 10 hour work day in 1848. There has never been "absolute ownership" of anything in the US. Most of the colonies were funded on property taxes.

Most Americans are unaware of the legal distinction between absolute ownership of private property versus qualified ownership of estate (subject to ad valorem taxes).
. . .
Private property ownership is a constitutionally protected endowed right under the republican form of government.
" Personal liberty, or the Right to enjoyment of life and liberty, is one of the fundamental or natural Rights, which has been protected by its inclusion as a guarantee in the various constitutions, which is not derived from, or dependent on, the U.S. Constitution, which may not be submitted to a vote and may not depend on the outcome of an election. It is one of the most sacred and valuable Rights, as sacred as the Right to private property...and is regarded as inalienable." 16 Corpus Juris Secundum , Constitutional Law, Sect.202, p.987.

PRIVATE PROPERTY - As protected from being taken for public uses, is such property as belongs absolutely to an individual, and of which he has the exclusive right of disposition. Property of a specific, fixed and tangible nature, capable of being in possession and transmitted to another, such as houses, lands, and chattels."
- - - Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., p.1217.

Amendment V, U.S. Constitution 1789
... nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
. . .
As anyone knows, real estate can be 'condemned' and taken for nonpayment of taxes, without any just compensation.
OWNERSHIP - “... Ownership of property is either absolute or qualified. The ownership of property is absolute when a single person has the absolute dominion over it... The ownership is qualified when it is shared with one or more persons, when the time of enjoyment is deferred or limited, or when the use is restricted. "
- - -Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., p. 1106

LAND. ... The land is one thing, and the ESTATE in land is another thing, for an ESTATE in land is a time in land or land for a time.
- - -Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., p.877
*(Note: absolutely owned land is private property. Land held with qualified ownership is ESTATE.)
ESTATE - The degree, quantity, nature and extent of interest which a person has in real and personal property. An estate in lands, tenements, and hereditaments signifies such interest as the tenant has therein.
- - -Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., p.547

REAL ESTATE .... is synonymous with real property.
- - - Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., From p.1263

REAL PROPERTY ... A general term for lands, tenements, heriditaments; which on the death of the owner intestate, passes to his heir.
- - - Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed.,p.1218

INTEREST - ...More particularly it means a right to have the advantage of accruing from anything ; any right in the nature of property, but less than title.
- - -Black's Law dictionary, sixth ed., p. 812
Estate = real and personal property = real estate = qualified ownership
AD VALOREM TAX - According to value. A tax imposed on the value of property. The more common ad valorem tax is that imposed by states, counties, and cities on REAL ESTATE. Ad valorem taxes, can, however, be imposed upon PERSONAL PROPERTY; e.g., a motor vehicle tax may be imposed upon the value of an automobile and is therefore deductible as a tax. A tax levied on property or an article of commerce in proportion to its value, as determined by assessment or appraisal. Callaway v. City of Overland Park, 211 Kan. 646, 508 P .2d 902, 907.
Duties are either ad valorem or specific; the former when the duty is laid in the form of a percentage on the value of the property; the latter where it is imposed as a fixed sum on each article of a class without regard to its value.
- - - Black's Law Dictionary, sixth ed., P.51
No state nor federal constitution protects qualified ownership of estate.
Nor does any constitution tax private property.

But thanks to FICA / national socialism, most Americans have surrendered their endowment to absolutely own private property, in exchange for access to public charity (entitlements).

Do not believe me - go read the law for yourself.
Ask your public servants to explain themselves.
