I live in an apt building and was wondering if the deliverer will phone me with the imtercom or would just leave it on my box like usual.
I mean will i get it along with my other non-overnighted mail?

It should be announced over the intercom. If it has a "signature waiver" it may just end up in your mailbox. Nearly all of them have a noon guarantee.

I would call your local USPS delivery office and have them estimate the time of arrival on the set day. Most Carriers will delivery Express mail first to be way ahead of the 11:30am deadline. In smaller towns and rural areas a next day 3pm time is attempted. Sounds like you have a city delivery so you can tell the supervisor you want to be paged when the Carrier gets their to complete a physical delivery. I hope the sender includes your apartment number and your name is on the buzzer or identifiable with the apartment number/letter. Let us know how things turn out.
