They were popular in the 80s. Surprised they still had some open.

That's as they closed, they use to have one in every mall, often confused with another brand with a similar name and look.

I worked at our local franchise of The Body Shop, a shop begun by the great Anita Roddick. She put many empty suits’ noses out of joint by her unexpected (at least by them) success. A pretender company by a similar name came along to muddy the waters.
The Body Shop was eaten up by the L'Oréal Group, which marked the beginning of the end.

Kinda sucks because the only lotion that works on my cracked hands and feet was a hemp lotion found there. I wonder if they are maintaining an on-line presence.

Soon all that will be left is a bunch of crap-tastic inferior products because Americans have become lazy and lousy at supporting quality companies producing quality products.

I don't disagree. My daughter tells me her friends buy products hawked by influencers and frankly no one knows what's in them. It's the shiny new thing syndrome.

I've seen that with 'custom' dog food. People buy things from people that are looking to make a buck but have no knowledge of the products. Oh well- Caveat Emptor.
