I need suggestions on a good Christmas gift (yes it's early-but I have a lot to buy) for my in-laws who are retired and have an RV that is like their second home, and they travel a lot. I was thinking gift cards to chain/type food places, so when they travel they could use them to eat out. Does that sound like a "cheesey" gift? Any suggestions?
How long do they stay out at a time? I have some lock and lock food storage containers that I love for the trailer. Keep sugar, flour, cereal, stuff like that in there all the time. No bugs and keeps stuff fresh forever.
How about a small travel steamer to refresh their cloths or a travel iron.
Get some fabric and make them different table cloths. I just use the iron on stuff and I have table cloths for every holiday for about $2.00 each. Makes it a little festive and easy to store.
A throw for the couch.
Pretty new towels/dish towels.
Think small and easy to use/store. There are a million things to get for RVs.
Find one of those things for the RV that they wouldnt buy but would love to have, ie, emergency charger, for the cigarette lighter, small lantern that goes under the seat for that emergency, extra flashlight radio/tv/weather/battery powered thing or solar powered, or even better, one that is wind up powered. Ive seen this one, that when all else fails, its a wind up for electric power you crank it and it generates enough power for an hour of light or radio power. Normally people dont buy them, but as a gift, might be a nice idea.
