Hello! I used this site a lot when I was looking for a town to live. I am originally from SD and wanted to move to a nice little town back in SD after chiropractic school.
I want to put a plug in for Dell Rapids. My family and I love it here! We have found an amazing church (River community Church), tons of great friendly people and a clean fully functioning little town only 1/2 hr from Sioux Falls, SD.

[Mod Cut] The community has been supportive and people have been getting great results.

I just wanted to tell you to look at Dell Rapids if you are looking for a town to visit or live! We love it!

I have only been there once but I found it to be a decent little town.

I'm proud to call it my original hometown. Loved growing up there. Good people, good schools, and a town with a little bit of everything.

Message to people outside of Dells. Take in the movie theater. It's a theater the way they used to be and they show the same first run shows that you see in SF. Worth the commute.

love how the town is built within hills. Nice little town.. has attracted surburban sprawl from sioux falls and has some more upscale newer neighborhoods with higher property values. Has a nice downtown. Needs some more stores and a chinese place to eat at though.

Assuming no total economic collapse (I think it's still coming) the whole area from Brookings to Sioux Falls will eventually fill in with development. Including the towns of Colman, Egan, and Flandreau.
