I have been smoking nothing. Suarez is one of the best in the PL, like it or not. He is a gifted player with the ball at his feet and he can score goals. He hit the post the most out of any PL player last year. A bit of luck is involved but he is in my eyes one of the top 3 players in the PL.

Modric just signed with Real Madrid where he will have plenty of time and space in the soft La Liga. I agree he is overrated: not quick or productive enough to be a winger for Spurs and not tough enough to play in central defense.

I'll be rooting for AVB, it'll be nice to have that passion on the sidelines rather than the inert blob of Redknapp.

I have been gone from England way too long!!

I had no idea that there was an award for the player who hit the post the most!! Didn't realise either that the award makes them one of the top 3 players in the league too!

I never said there was an award for hitting the post. My point is that i Suarez can change them into goals, then he will be considered by everyone else to be one of the best in the PL when the truth is he already is oneof the best in the PL already. Its what he does with the ball at his feet that shows he is quality.

Agreed. He is criticized because he does not score enough goals for an attacking player. He is a fantastic player, very creative. Only glaring weakness is that he gets pushed off the ball too easily.

Good luck with AVB next season, Spurs! Glad my Chelsea ditched him! See you at Three Point Lane!
