Soccer referee beheaded after stabbing player to death in Brazil
Local area league game. 20 year old official ejects 30 year old player. Player fights official. Official pulls a knife and stabs player to death. Fans or family storm field, kill official, cut off his arms and legs, chop off his head, and stick the head on a wooden stake in the field. Hope Oakland Raiders fans don't copy this.

How pathetic , especially the comments by many in the news condemning the WC host for the acts. As if a similar behavior is going to be even remotely possible during the WC. The unfortunate act of savagery reported in the news was clearly just one more instance of a isolated violent revenge crime that still occurs in that rather remote part of the country, but let's not forget, not exclusive of Brazil. This one just happens to involve soccer but it could be any other stupid excuse. I'm surprise TWP actually published a news article like this one. Lamentable.

Incidences such as this makes a person shudder to think that there are human beings out there that will turn to savagery such as this. It happens anywhere, and the frightening thought is that people such as the ones that did this savage act probably are friends and neighbors to someone. Terrible, sub-human act.

This is totally barbaric. It's only a soccer game for crying out loud.
