Oops new to this and attached a message right on your posting. Sorry. If it is there enjoy reading it. If not, got to go do the "dinner" (or rather "supper")
thing. Will reply later.

Default Anderson , S.C.

You really should look at & consider Anderson, County , S.C. It has all & everything without all the cost & expense other places have . Medical & school system great , lots of things to , places to go , low cost of utilities, taxes , housing , lots of jobs for those who have a true interest to go to work . We spent years looking for the right place for retirement . No place is perfect & every place has some drawbacks , while this we found had the fewest of any drawbacks of any place we looked into . Weather near perfect , tonight , tomorrow morning down to a cool 60 degrees , high tomorrow of 82 . Supposed to get rain someday . Our electric bill never over $65.00 a month for total electric house of 2,500 sq ft , 4 bedroom , 3 bathroom with full walkout basement , one bedroom & bathroom being downstairs . No sales tax on grocery store food as of November 1st , till then .03 percent , lowesst gasoline tax in the nation , low property taxes , lottery players support most of the school tax needs . Any questions , ask...

Default welcome to the lowcountry

Goose creek and Summervile folks. I live in Crowfield Plantation in goose creek, a planned community with lakes, parks, pools, schools and bike trails.
$800 a month? that will get a lot down here. There are apartments here in Crowfield for that and we can walk around at night, no worries. Spanish moss, azaleas, palm trees, safety and good schools all in your price range. I suggest Springhill, Windsor Place or Devon Pointe. Coventry Greene is a little higher.
Goose creek is 25 minutes to the beach, Summerville just a little further. As far a jobs, we have a pretty healthy help wanted section in the paper and the port of charleston is a major draw for truckers. There are kids-a-plenty. Lot sizes,,,, well they're bigger than what you have but not estate sized. Stratford, Wando and Summerville schools are all good [we are stratford]
I'm from california, my husband from Binghamton, the man accross the street is from Scranton, we have buffalo, boston, indiana, albany, new jersy, pittsburg, south africa, even alaska, all here. Transplants welcome.
