Wanted: Rental house in Fort Mill/Tega Cay/Lake Wylie/Clover/Rock Hill (Fort Mill, SC)
Single professional looking to rent a house preferably in Fort Mill, SC but willing to consider renting in other NC/SC border towns close to Charlotte, NC but still on the SC side of the border. I was relocated to Charlotte for work and own a house in SC. I've been renting a house in Fort Mill, SC off of Carowinds Blvd. in the Steele Meadows subdivision for over a year. I've paid rent on time every month and can provide a reference from my current landlord. He's moving to a different state, has listed his house for sale, and has graciously given me a heads up so that I can start looking.
I would like to rent a 3 or 4 bedroom/at least 2 bath house for any amount between $600 - $900/month but definitely no more than $900/month as I am still paying a mortgage in SC. I do have renters in my house in SC, but I still want to be sure that I can pay both mortgage and rent if my renters were to move. I simply need a house big enough for all of my furniture without having to incur the cost of a storage unit as well. I don't have kids, but I have a well trained dog. I'm what most people would call a "neat freak" and serious about cleanliness. I will treat the rental property as if it is my own home. My current landlord can also attest to that fact! I'm looking to move by no later than the end of September if at all possible, but that does depend on how quickly he gets an offer on the house I'm in now.
