Yeah there is an attitude there that people should make themselves fit into Greenville.....instead of changing Greenville to fit the needs of residents. That mentality is completely wrong.

Trouble is that some of the changes that are needed are in direct opposition to the way things usually work in SC. People who are used to depending on cars for example don't see the need to spend money on commuter trains.

Old habits die hard!

Its funny you should mention trains too consideing that for the longest time we depended very heavily upon trains and we were actually more urban back then in the 40s and 50s.
