Volvo is reported to be looking at South Carolina, in addition to Kentucky and North Carolina, for a plant in the United States.

BMW in Greer has access to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, Norfolk Southern railroad, South Carolina Inland Port and Interstate 85. Taking the similar approach with Volvo, the site needs to have access to a major airport, a major railroad, a connection to a port and a major highway.
The Pee Dee could truly use a development like this.
