Hi, I'm looking around for a small cute town down south maybe on the coast but no preference but i would like a small town with properties a decent amount of land on it. And im a welder so I would need some sort of work there but not in the oil fields id like to settle with a job consisting within the towns. I'm a old fashioned guy and id like to be able to know everyone with in the little happy town. Anyone with suggestions it'd be greatly appreciated. thank you guys!

My vote for little happy town is Southern Pines, SC. The real estate is very affordable, the downtown is very walkable and full of small restaurants and shops. It is an Amtrak stop. There are lots of rural properties nearby and it is close enough to Fayetteville if you need a larger city to find work. My son lives there, and I bet hubby and I will move there someday.
