Since we're wanting to leave FL in part due to the very high cost of hurricane insurance, would we also be required to hold that kind of policy in the Greenville area?
I'm sure it's a given in the coastal towns but hoping that's not the case in the Upcountry.

We lived in Greenville Co (and now live in Anderson Co) and have never had to have hurricane insurance.
