Hi, we are looking to be in Scotland, SD the first weekend in November, does anyone have any recommendations as to where to stay? The closest I can find is Freeman. Any help would be wonderful.

Thanks!!!
JK

Default motels

They used to have a motel in Scotland, but it's been several years since we were through there. It is probably like most of the smaller towns and has had to close some of their businesses. Freeman is about 30 miles from Scotland. It's also quite a small town and you may feel more comfy by going to Yankton. It's about 25 miles from Scotland and is a lot bigger then Freeman. It's also near the river, has more restaurants and shopping, etc. Freeman is a very conservative and religious community and you may not find anything open there on a Sunday. If you have any more questions, I'd be happy to try to help you.
