Hurray! The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for from 6 PM Friday to 6 AM Sunday. This is shaping up to be a proper storm. Hurray!
This is going to screw up travel for the whole upper Midwest.
My Neighbor is out with his brand new side by side and plow. It looks like he is having fun. I got a message from a friend in eastern Wy. She says the wind began picking up about an hr ago. I will wait for the wind to do its thing before I begin to clean up.
16” of snow. 50 MPH winds yesterday. 3 foot drift right in front of the door. Dug out my neighbors first. Finally finishing up with my driveway. South facing driveways make life easier this time of year. The power blinked about a half dozen times, but otherwise stayed on.
Drove from Huron to Cavour and back about 30mph as the roads are solid ice.
