Memorial Day
I just want to say a big THANK YOU to all our veterans and their families. I'm also saying a prayer for all current servicemen during the holiday. And my heart goes out to those who have lost a loved one during war time.
This is a weekend that is a good time to remember and honor all the loves ones we've lost.

I couldn't agree with you more, Jammie. Our true heroes are the ones who have died for our freedoms, and those who stand vigilant in its defense today.

This year Memorial Day takes a deeper meaning for me.
For those who have served and those serving, thank you. For those who paid the ultimate price for freedom and protection and even deeper thank you. Your lives were not in vain. It is a display of valor without measure.

Good luck to your kid. My brother has been in the Air Force for a long time. I did a little stint in the Guards, and my brother served in the Navy. The only branches my family doesn't represent in are the Marines and the Coast Guard.
And congrats to my kid brother, he is one heck of an Air Force man.
