Hi, I'm going to be moving to Spokane from Las Vegas in March or April of 2008, I'm a 26 year old single female, no pets, I'd be living by myself. What I need to know is where a safe area where I can live and not be worried about my car, myself, or my belongings all the time. I know a lot of realtors are on this site, and it's Illegal for you to be all "______ is the
mod cut of Washington", but I'd like some sort of direction as to where I should look. In general, all I've gotten is live on either South Hill or Spokane Valley. But those are kind of big places, so something a little more specific would be nice. Oh, and I can only afford about $600 a month. I'd LIKE a 2 bedroom, but a 1 bedroom will do if I don't have a choice in the matter. I'm really not into the studio living as I never make my bed.

Can't really speak to the valley but for the south hill, if you're looking for a relatively quiet, safe location I'd check out the apartments along Regal between approximately 37th and 60th. There are several newer apartment complexes that are nice and generally w/in your budget. Good Luck!
