?

The weather has really cooled down this summer from last. Not sure if this will play out for the entire summer. By this time last year, Tri-Cities had more than a dozen of 100+ temps, this year just a couple.

Weather predictions have become much better due to tech, and yes, most meteorologists can be very accurate 7 days out.

That's cheery: want crummy-ass weather? Hey, we can guarantee it a week in advance!

On the bright side, Spokane offers foks the opportunity to plan that suicide well in advance. Diesel vehicles only. Mullets welcomed. Eschew turn signals.

Remember global warming? Don't you wish it had been real?

Yele, you will always be that grumpy person who hates all weathers except really hot... why do you ignore my invites to move to Miami? You would thrive on the heat, living in a waterfront condo :P

I'm not usually the most optimistic guy on earth, but so far, I've loved this summer's weather.

Maybe, if it had been any other year than a year that immediately followed two hot,dry years that burned everything up, then I would have wished for more sun and less rain. But, all things considered, a few rainy days mixed with a few days in the 70's and 80's are just fine with me.

I remember in May, we had a spell of 90's, and suddenly everyone freaked-out that the fire season was going to start even earlier than last year and we were all doomed. Now, it's been cooler and a little bit rainier, and everyone's pissed about that. Waddaya gonna do, ain't no on ever happy???

I'm loving it. If it never goes over 80 degrees I'll be happy.

My bike commutes to work have been amazing. I only sweat in the morning going up the hill to Airway Heights. But I'm enjoying this weather, and yes...fire season. No complaints over the coolness or the rain. 4th out at the lake was not as hot as we would have liked, but overall it's been great.

We will see above normal temps again in the next 7-10 days, but bottom line, the E. WA weather has turned into a cooler summer compared to 2015. Good news for fire threat, and perhaps lower AC bills. Don't dismiss the hot weather yet, however. August can be brutal. We shall see.
