It was great to see serve and volley, and indeed Brown attacking the net when not serving.

It was a very enjoyable game.

Feel bad for Heather Watson today. She should have closed out the match at 3-0 to beat Serena, but it was still a great performance. Hopefully she'll build on that now and start to climb back up the rankings.

She was so close. It was frustrating to watch.

That was a fun, nail-biting match to watch. I have to agree with Serena's assessment that Heather should have more ambitious goals than just making it into the top 20. That Wimbledon crowd was rowdier, during this match, than I've heard in a while.

BTW, it seems appropriate John Isner's match today was postponed in the 5th set tied 10 games, with Marin Cilic, five years after the Isner-Mahut record breaking longest match of 11 hrs. 5 min.; 183 games.

That's tough as he lost all his three sets to tie breaks.

A great day's play at Wimbo today.

The quarter finals are all set, apart from Djokovic, who has fought back to 2-2 and will finish tomorrow.

Murray did a solid job getting past Dr Ivo, and Federer cruised past Bautista Agut. Berdych is gone, Wozniacki out as well. Radwanska is back in business it seems, after a slump in form. Serena will play Azarenka, who has run her very close a couple of times this season

Nice to see Timea Bacsinszky making the quarters. Only a couple of years ago she was working in a hotel in Switzerland, and nearly quit the game.

Ladies quarters tomorrow, with a little Djokovic thrown in for free.

The Quarters on the Men's side seem to be not so interesting. We know that Federer will beat Simon and we know that Murray will beat Popsicle. Wawrinka will take care of Gasquet and Djokovic will take care of Cilic.

The Semis are where the firework happens.

Did I see correctly, Roger Federra is playing for the Swiss? Or did I see the wrong flag?
