Sorry, I thought I signed my name to that rep point.
You are correct that I am no better than an actor. I am also no better than an athlete or a stunt person.
I'm just a person like anyone else.
However, I could and I would say that to your face.
Could you and would you tell a Pro Wrestler to their face that what they do is fake and not threaten to sue when they show you just how not fake it is?

I think the topic title is a bit misleading,Professional wrestling doesnt claim to be a sport and is in no way trying to be a sport. Its all about story lines, scripts and choreography performed in an athletic manner to entertain wrestling fans.
Fake? you might want to elaborate on what you mean by fake.
EG whats fake about this?=

Exactly!
At least pro wrestling is honest and has said that the outcome of their matches is pre-determined. It wasn't always that way but it is today and has been for a very long time now.

Entertainment, but traditional sports are also about entertainment to a certain degree - they'll sometimes change the rules so their product is more entertaining/pleasing to fans. Star players can also get more favorable calls at times.

From what I've heard it can be real in several ways...

real hard on the body
real hard to do (most are in great shape even if they use steroids)
real dangerous
real hard on a family life (traveling)
real good acting
real good personalities (sometimes a God given gift)

Sadly, all sports today from cycling and tennis to the NFL and MMA, are full of steroid users and have been for a very long time now.

I don't consider a sport, in fact even WWE doesn't, they say it's sports entertainment.

They results are scripted. It's like a soap opera.

With that said, a lot of those guys are amazing athletes and they really do get hurt even if they're not trying to really hurt each other.

I consider these wrestler's great athletes and acrobats, but WWE is not a sport. It's scripted.
