How come all of you who are so disgusted didn't have an issue before? Before 2009 most of the players were still in the locker room during the anthem. You didn't care that they weren't even on the field much less participating during the national anthem?

Take my advice. Ignore all the hoopla and enjoy the games for what they are.

Already responded on this a few postings above. I've got peace of mind now in being able to really hate the Cowboys again.

NFL ratings for this week were down further than last week. I kind of hope it's a trend. Most of my football following is going to be on Saturdays. Something I reverted to a few years ago and will definitely lean more towards now.

not done during the anthem mind you, yet they're booed for just kneeling...you fans should go to NASCAR, would be more fitting

nice going Mr Dotard, you've achieved unity
Wonder what got Jerry to change his stance. Not a single owner sided with Trump.

I’m not boycotting. To boycott means once a change has been made then you’ll go back. I completely gave up on the entire NFL. I did the same in the 90s with the baseball strike and I haven’t watched an MLB game since then. The league as a whole turned their back on USA and I’m turning my back to them.

There’s a difference between “indifference” and a conscious decision to protest the national anthem.

Hum.. hard to say but i do know that the Anthem was never televised unless it was the Super Bowl. The games i attended prior to 2009 certainly had players on the sidelines, all of 'em? most of 'em? hard to say but the players were there...

The owners never had backbone in the first place, so I wouldn't expect them to change.

I can't wait for the next time an NFL owner begs the local community for hundreds of millions of dollars in financial assistance to build a new stadium.

F that.

I hope the local communities tell them to go pound sand
