Interesting Rome Masters final between Nadal and Djokovic today........Nadal won 75 16 63.
Nadal has won their last 5 meetings on clay, including 60 62 75 at 2020 Roland Garros.
So today's final exceeded expectations.
Everyone thought Djokovic would be tired because he played a lot more tennis yesterday than Nadal, but Djokovic looked the opposite of tired.
Points won with more than 9 shots = Djokovic 20, Nadal 5.
As Djokovic said after the match- "I didn't feel fatigue. Actually, I was very happy with the way I felt on the court. I could have gone for another few hours."
This is the 10th time Nadal has won Rome.
Djokovic is a 5-time Champion.
Maybe they meet again at Roland Garros where Nadal will be going for his 14th RG title........and 21st Slam title.
Nadal beat Tsitsipas in the Barcelona final a couple of weeks ago, another very entertaining match-up.
Now at the French Open aka Roland Garros.
Federer won his 1st Round easily and will need to win 3 more matches to meet Djokovic in the Quarterfinals.
The winner of that will meet Nadal in the Semis.
Where are you watching? I don't get Tennis Channel and Roland Garros is not on ESPN - at least when I'm awake which isn't until afternoon. I enjoy clay. Although I'm a Rafa fan, Federer is also very very good on clay. Would be nice get Novak out and have a Fed/Rafa final - if Fed's knees hold up.

I have Fire Sticks TV at Home and I get different Feeds and all direct from Europe...Either EuroSports and or the Portuguese SPORTV1-2-3-4-5.
Just great and obviously all free. Sometimes the audios are in a foreing language that it's not a problem when watching Sports you are familiar with. EuroSpors 1-2 are normally from the UK.

I think Nadal, Federer, and Novak all ended up on the same side of the bracket......which is less than ideal from a fan standpoint.
Federer withdrew from Roland Garros today, not surprising, he'd hinted at it just after the 3rd Round victory.
Federer was never going to win the most physical tournament in the world, given how little tennis he's played in the last year.
I'd like for Nadal to get another victory over Federer at Wimbledon........so let's hope they meet in the QF, because Federer is ranked 8th, and Wimbledon has said they'll be seeding according to the rankings (whereas in past years they seeded according to a formula which emphasized grass results).
