University of Phoenix Stadium, nobody gets the gag. The University of Phoenix is a correspondence school, it has no teams. It is, however, across the street from the stadium and all of it's correspondence has a picture of the school building with the stadium right behind it.

Um, I'm aware of the workings of the UoP. I did not say I didn't "get it", I said it was a silly name.
Agree with Coolhand68. PetCo has to make me gag the most though.
While we're at it, the Mets' Park should be re-named
"TaxPayers' Bailout Field".
I loathe naming rights. I remember when the Tax Burden at Arlington (as I call the Rangers home field since they raised sales taxes to pay for it) was going under the moniker of Ameriquest Field. This was at a time when that firm was prosecuted for predatory lending.
Petco is just ludicrous, as was Edison International Field of Anaheim (thank God Artie Moreno bought the team and changed it to Angels Stadium).
Great American Ballpark doesn't offend me that much. It seems appropriate before you remember it is named after an insurance company.
I guess we ought to be glad Blackwater hasn't bought any naming rights.
"Dolezel passes over the middle to Will Pettis who makes the catch at the Pepsi 20 yard line, and that is good enough for a Dawg E. Day's Paw Pet Grooming First Down!"
Pizza Hut Park, home of FC Dallas
Dr. Pepper Ballpark, formerly Dr Pepper 7-Up Ballpark home of the AA Frisco Roughriders
Both are in the Dallas Suburb of Frisco.
