I live in Ozark and tried a dog groomer in Nixa who I wasn't too pleased with, my dogs were not that clean unlike where I used to take them before I moved here. I read someones post on here about not going to Petsmart, I have never been a fan of chain stores for dog services anyway. I have 2 labs and have found it heard to find a groomer who does big dogs. Also I will be needing to board them for the holidays and need to start looking for a place to board them as well. Thanks for the help.

You should check out A Lot to Bark About. They are great to work with and they don't keep your dog in a kennel. The dogs are kept in open rooms with other dogs and they have web cams so that you can look in on your pups any time you wish while you're away. Beyond that, the owners are true dog lovers. They have a web site, if you want to check them out. You can even look at the web cams.

Try AllPet in West Plains, MO. It is a drive but if ever in the area they offer an "express service" where dog is done straight through and your done.

Boarding recommendation
I have also found that Happy Tails right on the MO/Ark border is a happy place for my black lab. The lady who owns the place only accepts up to 9 dogs at a time. She walks them, spends time with them playing, lets them play with other dogs (supervised), and is genuinely caring. Lucy LOVES going there....she is happy when she comes home too....unlike a couple of other places I've tried.
