Anyone out there commute from near the Lake St. Louis/O'fallon area to downtown each day? Wondering what the average commute looks like during the week. Would be looking to travel around 6:30 to 6:45 each morning and around 4:30 to 5 each evening.

Any info would be appreciated.

I'm assuming you will be commuting on I-70 or highway 40. Both have similar traffic patterns. Traffic seems heavy from 7:30 to 9:00, and again from 4:00 to 6:00.

You'll be fine in the morning, probably 50-60 mph the entire drive. The afternoon, however, will be heavier. I'd wager the return to LSL will take an hour, possibly and hour and fifteen minutes. Highway 40 and I-70 both have choke points in the city and inner-ring burbs.
