Stay out of the cookie cutter, far flung suburbs like Fenton & Wildwood. Blech. Exurbs are disgusting.

Check out Maplewood, Richmond Heights, Kirkwood, Webster Groves for places with good public schools.

Are you familiar with Edwardsville, IL what is different about this suburban area compared to Fenton, MO? What is the commute like from Fenton to Hazelwood compared with from Edwardsville, IL to Hazelwood, MO? Is housing more affordable in Edwardsville compared to Fenton?
