Wanted to share this from my blog regarding all the fantastic buildings I discovered in my recent visit to the salt city:

How was your trip? Nice pictures of the historic architecture in Downtown. Next time you are in town, check out the University Area and districts like Crouse-Marshall, East Genesee Street and Westcott. Eastwood, Tipperary Hill and Franklin Square are also worth checking out. For residential areas, Scottholm, Sedgwick and Strathmore has nice, bigger and historic homes.

It was a good trip. It was a stopover from my way to Buffalo. I stayed at the Marriott in Armory Sq and next morning ate bagels at Water St Bagels, of course had to try the Kimmelweck flavor, then coffee at cafe Kubal before deciding to spend a couple of hours at the Erie Canal Museum. End of day was spent at the Salt City Market with the many great food options there.

Good to hear that you enjoyed your time in the city and there is more to check out, if/when you have more time.
