Used to live in Brooklyn, moved here 2.5 years ago. Love it!! I love the walkability of the villages. We ended up in Baldwinsville but also looked at Liverpool while searching.

Hi CKhthankGod :-) yes that would help if I gave some info right? Lol well I'm starting from scratch so I was looking at 2 bedroom apartment around 650-800 range. I saw some near Onondaga Lake. I work in the tech field I repair cell phones and computers but in would take a helpdesk or tech support or callcenter job also. In going to need public transportation as I'm not taking my car right now. Yes jonthadream my contact person up there well my very good friend told me he recommends Liverpool or baldwinsville. Said you can rent a whole house for a good price. And do i need first monts rent and security and could I possibly secure it before I go. And I'm 37 and a woman.

In terms of employment, I would look here: Home | United Radio

It is in the East Syracuse area. So, perhaps a complex like this may be a good fit, if you can get employment there: Syracuse NY - Fanklin Park Apartments

These condos are across Kirkville Road in the same area: Classified Ads - Watertree of Dewitt

Here are the CENTRO bus schedules: Centro Syracuse Schedules

This is the school district for that area: ESM School District

You can find both throughout the area and if she is interested, some high schools have bowling programs: CNYCL girls bowling standings and averages - Syracuse.com

Central New York High School Girls Bowling - Syracuse.com

Another area that may work is North Syracuse, which is a walkable village and this company isn't too far away: CXtec Careers | Great Opportunities for Strong Candidates and Skilled Professionals.

This may be another complex to look into: Wood wind Gardens Apartments

As could this one: Longley Jones Management Corp. - Apartments - Standard Apartment Housing - Syracuse & Surrounding Areas - Allen Meadows

You are close enough to shopping, can walk to a bowling alley, ice cream shops, pharmacy, restaurants, a library, parks, etc.

This is the school district: North Syracuse Central School District
