I've lived with a parent for the last few years and had 1 apartment for a few years before that. So I don't have a whole lot of renting history. In case that becomes a problem getting an apartment I was thinking about renting a house. But that’s a no-no here in Florida. What’s been happening here is that ALOT of people were renting out their house to tenants who were paying them rent but the homeowner wasn't paying the mortgage. We've foreclosed on a lot of homes with tenants who have been paying rent. Then they have to up and move out. I know NY hasn't been affected as much by the housing bubble but...
