Ipad Youtube app - why designed like this

We had some problems trying to clear the watch history from the latest YouTube app (with an Ipad with Ipados16)
.
(Not the search history.) I had to click on the initial, then Settings, then About, and then search for "clear watch history."

Why do they have to make it so unobvious to just clear your watch history?
Why don't they just have a clear button when you're looking at the watch history??

Because 95% of people don't WANT to clear their watch history? Watch YT incognito if you don't want your history saved.

I found another method:

click on your initial. Then click on Settings.

There is a list of things on the left. One is Manage History.

Then you can delete your watch history. You can also click on Interactions to delete liked history.

Apple changes the YouTube app almost every week. The buttons etc keep moving around.

Right now, when looking at your watch history, you can tap View All and then there is a"..." - if you click that, you can clear watch history.

A week from now, it may be different.

It is amazing how many huge profitable companies have a horribly cheap and useless app. A college kid could do better with most of these POSs.

Even youtube on a workstation is pathetic with storage, organization, sorting, and culling.

More accurately, Google owns YouTube so they change it.
