Anyone know off hand of any apts in Tampa that have a garage attached to it? All the ones I found so far that come with garages have the garage located somewhere else on the complex which could be far away from your apt.

I have seen some condo's with attached garages. Does that count? You pay more for that though. Something like $100 more a month.

the estates at tuscany ridge has 2 BRs with an attached one car garage and 3 BRs with an attached 2 car garage. Technically Brandon, but the address is Tampa, FL.

Lived in a 2 BR/2 Bath 1 Car garage for about 14 months.

Lakeview apartments in Calusa Trace (formerly known as condo's) have that up here in Lutz off Van Dyke Rd.

However, the owners might use them or have rented them out already so if you rent there it is not guaranteed you'll have the garage. The $100 is average here too.

my reccomendation has an attached garage. it is a two-level apartment, with an electric garage door. you pull in, park, and open a door and walk up indoor steps to your second level apartment. they were built in 2008 and are pretty nice... but it is near brandon, so you might get shot in your apartment.

Post Rocky Point also has very limited 3 level townhomes with a first floor attached two car garage. It was about $1550 a month when I looked at it in Sep 2008

Yeah I was looking for an attached garage like Craig mentioned but those for prices that high I might as well buy a house or condo. It looks like most of the Tampa apts with garages are going to be $1200 or higher.

People have no clue about all the additional home ownership costs. 1200 is not a lot. I am paying that for 825 sq feet 1 BR /1.5 BR.

I bought a house in GA that I thought would cost me 1150 a month. It ended up being like 1600 a month.

Oh I know. I was actually just trying to get you riled up again. I thought my other post about stating I wanted to rent a home for under $1000 would do it instead.
