Already starting out to be a long dry June. Gonna be another dry summer in my area.

This is my third summer here - so far it has been great as far as the heat is concerned. Hard to believe that parts of FLA have been cooler than states as far as NY. Yesterday I played golf in th middle of the day and don't think I even broke out in the usual sweat. I'm very happy so far - hope it continues.

We have yet to get into that nitemare reverse west wind flow. Now that the gulf temp is above 85 it will be true hell with lows in the 80's and dewpoints around 75 once we get stuck in that pattern. We have had a northeast windflow for the last 10 days.

It has definitely been strangely dry and with much lower humidity so far. Every so many years this happens. While I have been enjoying the nicer weather, we desperately need rain - all the landscaping is dying and there are wildfires all over the state, so I hope it starts soon.

Don't hold your hand out as it won't rain anytime soon. Someone may get lucky and get a a little pop up storm but that will be about it. We need cold air in the upper levels and lift. As long as a upper level high is on top of us you can forget any real kind of rain starting.

Hope you guys enjoy this reverse west wind flow we are stuck in for a few days. Gotta love dew points over 73 and no chance of rain.

Enjoyed another relatively comfortable day out on the golf course this afternoon. I'm pretty sure if I went up north, I'd find places actually warmer than FLA.
