I'm thinking of moving to Tampa Bay area or around Deltona, N of Orlando. I'm trying to find a job, have a master's degree, and getting immersed in Spanish. Any advice?

What is your MA 's subject? Do you have work experience?
The job situation in this area is as bad or worse than all the other states.
Glad that you are getting immersed in Spanish. I happen to believe that it is always good to know more than one language.

Have to agree with this statement , I had to leave because of loss of income and could not afford an apt worth a dog gone anymore what I saw for 600 a month i woudl not let my dog live in . It was disgusting and the drug dealers right around the corner pretty much sealed the deal for me . I wish my kids were not down there and my sister either but neither of them will leave because the family is down there all except me and one sister the rest of the family is down there . Yes the grandkids are down there too and that is what hurts but what good is a place to live when you dont have a job and then live on welfare for a long time . The economy is definately in the tank and more so in florida one would think . Everyone thinks florida is paradise and it is not .

There are also a ton of zip codes on pinellas side of the bay, if you are interested shout, there will be a lot of suggestions. I like 33772/33776/33774 for family locations/proximity to beaches
