No butcher in the Hyde Park/downtown area?

Once again it is all in what you like.. Cuban/Italian meat markets are all great if you want good meat however, it isn't like other meat markets in other cities. They do have steaks, pork and chicken including many cuban specialties. I love palomilla and stuffed boliche.

is on armenia near TB blvd

You can buy a whole (sirloin) Palomilla and have them cut it in steaks, roasts and hamburger at a reasonable price.

There is also Roberts meat market on S, Westshore

Unless the store has drastically changed in the past two years, the meat at Land and Sea is not the best (I'm trying to be nice here). If you're willing to make the drive from downtown to the Carrollwood area, you would be better off driving south to Apollo Beach Meats --> APOLLO MEATS******* Family owned since 1980. Give them a call before you go to verify they have what you want.

Afterthought - have you asked the butcher at Publix to get what you want? I know the one in my area would. I think, also, that Fresh Market would do the same. Restaurants such as Mise en Place and Seasons 52 that serve exotic meats have to buy it from somewhere. If it was me, I'd saunter in and ask them, too.
