Hello, All! Im thinking of a move from Maryland to the Tampa Bay area. I'd be purchasing a distributorship that delivers product to the local retail chains (Publix, Walmart, Target, Bjs, etc.) and was just wondering what the strength of these business's are in the W. Waters Ave. area. I know its kind of a broad question but any help would be appreciated.

I guess what Im worried about is buying this route and then having the business in the area trend downwards and I start making less money than when I originally purchased the route.

Bottom line, do you see business in the area on the rise, trending down, or just steady?

Thanks!

I think everything is leveling out. Nothing is currently trending upwards. Although I thin it will in the next few years. Might be a good time to get in.

Id say steady. the housing there is pretty well established and a lot of the people that live in that area have or will live there for a while. Its pretty centrally located too with access to a lot of things. It isnt really a nice area in general but I dont see business in the area going down.

Waters is generally a pretty dumpy corridor. Not the best area, but parts of it are pretty decent.

West of Sheldon Road it gets nice quickly. Conversely, as you go east, it gets progressively worse until you end up in a warzone near Sulfur Springs

The TNC area is pretty rough. Really gone down hill.

TNC is not as rough as Sulfur Springs. And like I said, West of Waters Ave is fine. Some very nice neighborhoods back there including the East part of CountryWay and South part of Westchase.

I think this really is going to depend on what product you're selling.

Very stable area. I don't see it going up or down anytime soon.
