Like bentlebee and anya I think there's a big assumption in the poll.... I mean, not even an option for no regrets? I love my house and can't think of anything else I should have gotten in its place. Another happy Tampa homeonwner here.

I regret buying at the top of the market and watching my house plunge in value.

But I sure don't regret letting the bank foreclose on it.

The only regret that struck home was the cookie-cutter reference. I felt like I was living in a neighborhood of mini cement distribution centers. The houses have no character, especially when they're all the same. Otherwise, I'm grateful for my six year experience of living on the Treasure Coast. We built, moved in, enjoyed the first year or two, tolerated the remainder, and we were lucky enough to sell and get out. Florida is now just an experience in my book of memories.

So far no regrets, but we researched for years before we bought a house here. Life is just as I expected it to be and the weather is even better than I anticipated.

And where exactly should they "supposed" to be living?
