We just recently moved to Tampa and I chose a VPK (I'd rather not name) that is religion based, smaller and since she went to a presbysterian preschool, seemed okay. However, her old school seemed a lot more in to the activities, her teacher was also very fun and artsy, and really open minded. She's been at this school one day and it's just blahh. They do an art project "once in awhile" and I really don't care for the teacher, she was on vacation last week so I could not meet her ahead of time. We talked a bit about discipline and the first thing out of her mouth is "the pastor said"..
Who is the teacher? her or the pastor
Anyway, I'd really love input on any school in the Lake Magdalene, Lutz, or Carrollwood areas that are good and I make it fun for the kids too. Thanks
P.S. The school she is has a very high readiness rate, but to me that's not everything.
