No, not at all. What are you trying to insure?

600/mo is extremely high. I think Florida averages around $120/mo.

I have Four vehicles and it is over 600 per month. One is for a 16 year old and another is for a 21 year old. Depending on what you are driving. My recommendation because we were floored by the prices, is to shop around. There is an online tool that lets you put information in and it comes back with an estimate.
It is higher here, but something does not seem right.

My auto insurance doubled when I moved from Marion to Hillsborough county. $375 to $720 every six months for one vehicle. $120 per month, I am average.

Two under-aged drivers can just about double your insurance rates.

have you been getting in a lot of accidents that were your fault or do you like to get traffic tickets?

What kind of car do you drive, tickets, accidents, etc? It really depends on all that info.

Back in Nebraska we had 2 cars (1 new, 1 5 years old) and no tickets/accidents and we paid 150 a month for full coverage 150/300k for both cars. We now pay 260 a month for 25/50k full coverage down here (including renters insurance) through USAA.

State farm wanted to charge us 500 a month for 25/50k car insurance and then another 100 a month for renters insurance. I laughed them out the door and switched to USAA and didnt look back since.

I have family members that switched from USAA to All State because they quoted them lower rates for the same coverage. AAA Auto as well as GEICO and Progressive keep touting how great their rates are.
