I know this has been covered extensively as I have been looking through previous threads. However, I am hoping to get some sort of confirmation based on my demographic. I am a single white 23 year old male. I am moving to the St. Petersburg area for a job and to continue my education. I will coming to St. Petersburg for a bit of a scouting trip this weekend and I am hoping for some suggestions on neighborhoods to check out as far as renting. As I have read through previous threads I have seen that Old Northeast and Snell Island have been popular recommendations, however, I am wondering if these neighborhoods are typically for older individuals? Would anyone suggest other recommendations for me based on my age such as South Tampa?

I think for your age group Downtown St Pete would be BEST.

Those areas are more family oriented, and yes there are older people living there too.
