The only problem is that I prefer to read "true stories", not some maked up stories created by interested in thinking that way professionals.
Well, if you have no interest in the DIFFERENT topics, then by all means just pass on by. I do not require that people read and comment on every topic. I simply post, backing up with facts and links, topics "I" find interesting and hope that it is of interest to and maybe even helps others.

Same thing with the place they left in the first place. Just in reverse and it would apparently bring great joy to do so. Better jobs, better pay, public transit, old friends, family, better weather, better stores, better government, better schools, its all there not here so why be where it isn't when you could be where it is. That would correct part of the "rootless" problem.

Yep. That's something I will never understand. Either move or work on a plan to move. Complaining is just a waste of time, that could otherwise be used to change your current situation.

Spring Hillian, you provide so much quality information here on the Tampa Bay forum. You really know your stuff. Thx for all the great information.

Get a job...go outside, fish, snorkel, play tennis, go to Disney, Sean World, Busch Gardens...this forum is for both sides not just one! "That's something I can't understand" either. You moved here, and are sooo "Darn Happy" that INSTEAD of being outside enjoying your new found PARADISE....you sit here on CD, and post meaningless articles; because all these articles are meaningless to someone with a Masters Degree who can't find work, or works at McDonalds...or a family of 3, 4, 5, 6 trying to make it on under $50k...and there are PLENTY of these ppl around here....do you think these people are enchanted to hear about bidding wars and increasing home prices and all this crap? they're not....all this means is that it will take them another bubble to afford a house...and even though "of course not everyone should have a home" per most of you....it is truly ignorant to be THIS ignorant towards other people. I am happy too that we're back, but I am not going to start overrate this area for what it is NOT just because it works for us, and give others a FALSE sense of "well being" here.
Well, I'm sorry you feel this way.

For the record, I am outside. I am by the pool with my iPad. I am planting some new shrubs and I sit down to take a rest and have a drink every so often and I take a look at the forum.

The thing is, you say it is for BOTH sides, which I agree. But when "this" side provides an opinion, you get upset. Do you see the irony there? "This" side cannot be correct or "this" side only feels this way because he doesn't know any better? Hmmmm.....think about that for a second.

I love it here, as do many other posters here. Why is that so hard to accept? I understand some people do not like it here. I respect their feelings. If they don't like it, they don't. So be it. I don't try to tell them they are wrong. I just encourage them to follow their dreams, as I always say everyone has a right to be happy where they are. Wouldn't you agree?
