My father had a stroke and had to retire early and it effected part of his right side (and speech). As he aged, so did his reaction time. It pained me to no end to see this once strong man be reduced to being speech-impaired and having my Mom and I care for him. and of course his driving worsened and it was not fun suggesting that he no longer should be behind the wheel. For him and I'm sure for most it is a huge pride issue, understandably.

But my point is, his argument for continuing to drive (we did finally win, thankfully) was that he still had a valid license - and that is something that should be looked at. What is it, every 4 years (wait, it's much more now, right) we get a new driver's license and take the eye test? I honestly think after a certain age, the length of time in between should be shortened. This is not to insult any elderly person, because in all seriousness, I was just as concerned for other innocent drivers as I was for my Dad. And ALOT can happen in just a year with one's health deteriorating.

Some people are simply too slow on the left lane and don't care. They need a ticket.

Here is another funny one.

Exactly.

See the thing is that guy is now going even slower because he thinks the cop might think he is speeding....low IQ!

The roads are shared, and that is why we already have a TON of traffic laws. They need a bill that allows them to enforce the existing laws. OMG that sounds so dumb, but it is so true. What is wrong with the existing laws? and why are people not aware of the purpose of the left lane is the question here? are they giving driver licenses like lollypops? do people not learn these laws before getting in a car? what is going on here? this is unheard off elsewhere in the world. Left lane is not for cruising it is for passing. Just read the manual, and see for yourself.

psssst. the majority are NOT from here, they visit, do was they please n leave. The near misses I had this yr the tags were NOT from FL! and there are NOOOO SIGNS

Pasco man, 90, trapped in his car for four days

By Eddie Daniels | Tribune Staff
Published: May 8, 2013"The 90-year-old World War II veteran had become stuck in his car inside the garage of his Mitchell Ranch Road home because of a broken hip and injured left arm" Friends of Ambrozia say he was shopping inside a Publix store on the morning of April 30 when he tripped and fell to the floor. On his way down, he reached out with his left hand to catch himself on a shelf, but the structure gave way. Neighbor John Collins said his friend – whom he calls “Bro” – was helped into a wheelchair by two Publix employees, loaded into his car, and allowed to drive himself home – all without medical attention.

ARGGGGGHHHH why is this man have keys to a car??????? I'd charge the family with negligence !

"Tolerance"? In that case I need to remind you and everyone else who has the luxury to vacation here that there are some people who live & work here while you vacation! Show some respect for those who work & live here! Our world doesn't stop because you came to visit!
