Do not eat at Mcabes family restraunt on Gulf to Bay and Belcher in Clearwater when they reopen. They were closed down for 39 health violations ,live roaches by the food prep area, dead roaches to many to count. Not having a food safty Person there that could read or write in English. My guess is Mexican I could be wrong.

Any place with "Family Restaurant" in it's name is a red flag.

Yup, "family" restaurant and "diner" = roaches and filth - haha. I am serious. Also, the majority of those cheap Chinese take-out places. I never eat at any of those type places.

I am in 3-8 restaurant kitchens a day. I have found most of your small "mom and pops" to be the cleanest places.
Your national chain restaurants with all the constant management turn over, not so much. Just because the dining areas look clean, behind the kitchen doors is a whole other world.
