All these bad reviews or lists that make no sense being passed as reality = all the more space for me due to people avoiding it .

I don't think Tampa is more snobby than San Francisco.

I am surprised a bit at this. I have been to just about every state in the Union and almost 30 countries and I don't see the snobbishness here. Wonder where they looked or who they polled to get this info.

Boston, NY, Providence, Connecticut, D.C, West Palm Beach, Miami, Coranado, etc... all have seemed worse to me.

HELL NO! Someone was on crack writing that list. Someone also said something more shocking one.. Tampa is more uptight and snobby, more vain and materialistic than L.A.. believe it?

Seriously? From my experience, I've had a great time in Tampa. Or perhaps I just happened to run in the good side of the city?

Further proof why I tend to ignore most "Top <insert descriptor here>" lists.

Tampa is a lot of things, some of them bad, some of them great, but one thing it is not is snobby. This is a very "live and let live" community. People don't really care about who you are, what you do, how you're dressed. Some could see that as a detriment. I sure don't. Try living in a posh DC neighborhood if you want to experience snobbishness.
