I've been doing a search on Realtor.com for homes in the Brandon area and almost every other home has a pending status. Same for most other markets.

Is Tampa going through a housing BOOM!!!!!???

hopefully people with secure income/solid financial standing are purchasing the homes for a long term investment rather than those house-flippers inflating their homes or those people who walked away on their mortgages like we saw back in '08/'09.........

Everyone likes to see their homes appreciate in value. It's only human nature after all.
In my experience no-one ever complains about a housing bubble until it bursts before they cash in.

We just purchased a home here and our realtor told us there is only four months of housing stock on the market right now. There should normally by six months of stock. So, yeah... not enough supply for the demand.

REO's are slowly added to the market since most of the new bank owned homes right now added, are the ones with issues that have been fixed by the banks but often with no paperwork or permits and of course no guarantees so I urge buyers to have a mold inspection performed aside from the home inspection and not a home inspector just checking for mold because they only look for signs and often mold signs are covered by paint which will solve the physical issue for a short period but it will show up again.
