I have a question. How often has anyone used their hurricane shutters here? I did get mine with the new house. Of course its always a possibility that we get hit. However its not a likely event here. Opinions?

The last series of storms I recall was the hurricane season of 2004...so that would be 11yrs. ago this June 1st...but that's just my recollection.

Family members close theirs when they go on long trips. Not against HOA from my understanding.

i agree, i am frim florida period. and my daughter is now finishing highschool. I know so, the level of schools here is much lower than other states. good luck with your kids. motivate them and keep them reading.

Yes, my wife andI looked at Atlanta and it's suburbs and the traffic was such an issue, we chose not to live there.
