Also, kind of funny, I actually met my best friend down here on these forums. We both moved down from Ohio around the same time but didn't know each other in Ohio. Decided to meet up and hang out which led to a great friendship.

38 SWF here, just moved here from Ohio last month. It all depends on what part of town you move to. Let me give you some key insight.

The city is so spread out that you really should live within about 10 miles of work. Otherwise, you're looking at 45 minutes to an hour in traffic to get anywhere. If you think you'll be able to get to the beach frequently, forget it if you live in Tampa. I live in New Tampa (near the Hillsborough/Pasco county line, near Wesley Chapel) and one Saturday a few weeks ago, it took me an hour and forty five minutes to get to Honeymoon Island. I'm really hoping to move to Clearwater/Largo/Seminole sometime soon if I can get a different job. It feels like where I live is so far from EVERYTHING.

Dating? HA. Not even going to go there. Maybe if you live in a hipper area, but where I'm at is suburban sprawl desert land as far as dating goes. lol

Tampa is the swinger capital of the US. Great place to live and be swingle.
