Hi guys,

I want to move to Tampa but haven't been able to lease a place because I can't find the right neighbourhood for us. I have a budget (apparently low) of $1,100 before utilities to rent a 2 bedroom (around 1,100 sq ft) --it could be an apartment or a house, my only condition is that is must be a safe residential area. I drove around the Hyde Park/SoHo and surrounding areas and it is lovely there, that's the type of area I'm looking for. But It certainly is out of my budget. Then, Town n Country looks like a place I can afford. Haven't been there yet, but I've been reading a lot of bad stuff about it --mostly at least 8 years old though.

Where can I rent a 2 bedroom of around 1,100 sq ft in a safe residential area in Tampa with $1,100?

Thanks!

You don't have to settle for Town and Country. There's many options in South Tampa in that price range.

It's worse now than 8 years ago. You can rent a house for under 700 a month in West Pasco county.

Waiting for the big one to take west Pasco out, doesn't have to be a cat 4 a juicy slow moving weak June tropical storm could do it. Texas style.

Try New Tampa or Wesley Chapel areas...
