I’ve gotten 4 “spider” bites. When the first one went away, I got another. It happens when I’m sleeping.. I know it’s not bed bugs because sadly I lived in an apartment complex where I had gotten bitten by them every night (until I made the landlord solve the issue). The bites also looked completely different than these bites. I know it’s not a misquote bite either because it doesn’t look the same as one. I was born & raised here so I’ve had plenty of mosquitoe bites in my life. These bites don’t stop itching for at least 3 days and they get super red. It’s just weird how once one starts going away I get another. Just annoyed that I’m getting them while sleeping. The bites have been around my hands/wrists or down by my feet/ankles. Never anywhere else. When I’ve looked up spider bites they do look what I’ve seen.. but I haven’t gotten any of the symptoms besides the itching and redness. They take about a week to go away like I’ve seen in the articles. It’s kind of weird that once one starts going away I get another. I’m not 100% positive it is a spider bite though. Or what exactly I should do about it.... if I could post pictures, I would :/

MRSA skin infections look like spider bites. Could it be that? Acquired by contact w/ infected items (ie gym equipment)....if so, better see a doctor.

it's a type of skin infection spread by a bacteria that looks a lot like a bug bite - you get it from shared items, direct contact w/ other infected, contact w/ items (ie beach chairs/gym equipment) that is contagious (that's why I posted gym equipment)......

Okay, from the website you gave me it looks like the first picture. But never gets worse than that. Just pops up one day and starts itching.. can’t even see the little “hole”. Of course.. when it itches I scratch without realizing and then it looks irritated but that then goes away and shows the little hole, like you see in the pic. Although after about 2 days it gets a deep red around the area while still itching... then it starts to go away.. and then I get another one > and it starts all over again.

You need to get to a dermatologist ASAP.

Could also be mites.

Could be a staph infection.

We are not doctors! Please go see a derm. and get yourself treated before whatever it is spreads.

I bet they are bedbugs. You said they are not due to previous experience, but a person's reaction can often be different from one time to another. Sounds like a classic case of bedbugs.

Please see a doctor it sounds like a infection. You could be bitten by a non venomous spider but once you shook and washed your bed linen odds are you won't get bitten again so quickly. You would know if you have spiders around by webs in the corners of the room. Sometimes a spider will drop from the ceiling on a web and get under the covers.
You would see flea dandruff on your sheets or the fleas hopping about as well as feel them on your skin. Mites are more difficult though, another possibility as are very tiny ants. I am basing you clearly know about bed bugs. Did you pull up your mattress to check the bottom side and the spring mattress if so equipped? That is where they hide.

It could be impetigo. Even though it is more common in children, older people can get it, too. Contagious, and can come from a pool and other common facilities. Interestingly, what I used to know as impetigo sounds a lot like MRSA. Wondering if they just gave it a new name.
